Return Policy


To make your return an easy and quick process, all we ask is for you to follow these simple steps below:

1. Please contact our Customer Service Department to request an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) Number. Please include your order number, if possible, so we can retrieve your order information quickly. Next, let us know the reason for your return and whether you would like a refund or exchange. Lastly, we will provide you with further instructions, which includes your RMA Number and the address to send your return too. Upon receipt of your return, we will issue a refund or exchange in accordance with our full return policy below.

Full Return Policy

All returns need to be issued an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) Number. We will provide you with further instructions on proceeding with returning an item(s) in a response email.

We offer a 30-day money back guarantee on our self defense items*. If you are not fully satisfied, you may request to return an item(s) within 30 days of the date of your invoice for a refund or exchange. If you would like a refund, upon receipt of the returned items, we will issue a refund for the purchase price of the items to the credit card used when the order was placed (shipping is not refunded). If you would like an exchange, you will be charged for shipping the item(s) back to you, in addition to any difference in cost (if an even exchange, only shipping charges will apply). If we owe you for an exchange of lesser value, we will apply a refund, if any.

Make sure to return any and all packaging, instructions, and accessories that came with the item. If you are unable to return the item(s) as shipped to you, we will treat the return as if you are making an exchange. We cannot accept a return for any item that is missing accessories (such as chargers, or AC adapters, etc.).

In the unlikely event you receive an item that has been damaged during shipment or has a manufacturers defect, we will of course replace the item or refund your money, including shipping costs to and from, right away.

Due to the nature of this product line, if you are not satisfied with your purchase we will authorize a return for an exchange of equal or higher value only within 3 days from receipt of your purchase.

These items are not subject to cancellations or refunds. So, please contact our Customer Service Department if you have any questions regarding any of these items. We want to make sure you will be happy and comfortable with these products. If in the unlikely event the item(s) has a manufacturers defect or is damaged during shipment to you, please contact us immediately so that we can get your equipment repaired or replaced right away. All requests for a return must be authorized by AFI before the product(s) is sent back to us. In the event where a refund is authorized by AFI (on a case-by-case basis, determined by AFI), a 25% restocking fee (non-negotiable) will be deducted, as well as the costs to ship your order to you. It is your responsibility to pay for any shipping costs to return the item to us. Please follow above return policy guidelines for a return of the above listed items. All above listed items come with a 30 DAY Warranty (unless otherwise stated by the manufacturer) to be free of defects in workmanship and material beginning from the date of sale to you. Warranty Policy

Items that have a warranty will state so on our website, or on the package of the item. Any item that does not state a warranty on our website or on the packaging is warranted for 30 days. Warranty replacements will be fulfilled for MANUFACTURER DEFECT only. Wear and tear, customer misuse, etc. does not qualify for a warranty replacement. Items being returned under warranty will be thoroughly inspected for the specified manufacturer defect, and replaced accordingly. If the item returned does not qualify for a warranty replacement, we will notify you of such, and provide options for returning item back to you or for us to dispose of the item here. Refunds will not be given under warranty unless it is submitted to us within 30 days of purchase. If an item has a manufacturer's warranty longer than 30 days, refunds will not be issued. We can only repair or replace the item. If you are needing to return an item to us under warranty, please follow the return policy guidelines above.

Shipping Policy

If an item is backordered, you will be notified via e-mail address. If the item you purchased is backordered, we will ship it when it arrives. If there are several items on your order and one or more are backordered, you will be notified. At that point you can decide to remove the item from your order or wait until all orders are in and can be shipped at the same time. This process helps reduce shipping costs.

Orders placed requesting Ground, First Class or Priority Mail normally ship within 1-2 business days*. Orders placed requesting UPS 2nd DAY** or UPS NEXT DAY AIR** will ship out the same business day if placed by 1pm Eastern Time - if received after 1pm Eastern Time, the order will ship the following business day. Orders placed on holidays, Saturday and Sunday will ship the next business day (for any shipping method chosen).

* IMPORTANT NOTE: Ship day means the day your order ships out - not when it will be delivered to you. For example, if you place an order on a Monday, your order should ship (not be delivered) no later than Tuesday. Your order will then be delivered to you dependent on the shipping method you chose during check out.

Shipping rates are based on method chosen during check out, weight, size, and destination city & state.

FREE SHIPPING: Only orders totaling $75.00 or higher qualify for free standard shipping. If your order qualifies for free shipping, your order will ship at our discretion by either by UPS Ground or US Mail. Your shipment confirmation email will let you know how it was shipped and provide you with the tracking number. Available to US Residents only.

How long will it take to receive your order? Here is a list of our shipment methods with approximate transit times for US:

First Class - 3 to 4 days (excludes Sunday/Holiday delivery)
Priority Mail - 1 to 3 days (excludes Sunday/Holiday delivery)
UPS Ground - 1 to 7 business days (see UPS Ground map below)
UPS 2nd DAY AIR - 2 business days
UPS NEXT DAY AIR - 1 business day

Once your order ships, a shipment confirmation will be emailed to you no later than the following day after your order ships, which will provide the method of shipping and the tracking number(s).

If you have chosen to pay by check or money order, please follow the instructions provided on your email receipt. Your order will ship upon receipt of payment.

The following are shipping restrictions for Stun Devices:

ILLINOIS STUN DEVICE RESTRICTION: Customers who reside in Illinois and who have a valid FOID card may purchase stun devices. Please email a copy of your FOID to us at, after placing your order - please reference order number when sending email. If we do not receive a copy of your FOID card and you have purchased a stun device, your order will not be processed or shipped.

WISCONSIN STUN DEVICE RESTRICTION: Customers who reside in Wisconsin and who have a valid CCW permit may purchase stun devices. Please email a copy of your CCW permit to us at, after placing your order - please reference order number when sending email. If we do not receive a copy of your CCW permit and you have purchased a stun device, your order will not be processed or shipped.


The following are shipping restrictions for Pepper Sprays:

Pepper spray cannot be shipped 2nd or Next Day Air.

New York - Pepper spray cannot be shipped to New York. Residents may only purchase defense sprays from licensed Firearms Dealers or licensed Pharmacists in that state. We can, however, ship dog pepper spray and bear pepper spray to your state.

Massachusetts - Pepper spray cannot be shipped to Massachusetts. Residents may only purchase from licensed Firearms Dealers in that state.

Michigan - Pepper spray purchased must not be more than 10% (Pepper Shot, Mace PepperGuard, Michigan Approved, are all approved for Michigan). "The reasonable use of a self defense spray or foam device containing not more than 10% oleoresin capsicum by a person in the protection of a person or property under circumstances that would justify the person's use of physical force."

Wisconsin - Tear gas is not permissible. By regulation, OC products with a maximum OC concentration of 10% and weight range of oleoresin of capsicum and inert ingredients of 15-60 grams are authorized. This is 1/2 oz. and 2 oz. spray. Further, the product cannot be camouflaged, and must have a safety feature designed to prevent accidental discharge. The units may not have an effective range of over 20 feet and must have an effective range of six feet. In addition there are certain labeling and packaging requirements: must state cannot sell to anyone under 18 and the phone number of the manufacturer has to be on the label. The units must also be sold in sealed tamper-proof packages.
